Junior Academy (U8-U12)

The BISA Junior Academy has been crafted to introduce young players to the foundational skills and concepts of soccer while fostering a love for the game. Players are encouraged to work as a team, building communication skills and cooperation. Group activities and small-sided games help foster a sense of camaraderie and teamwork. BISA Junior Academy teams compete in the Carolina Premier League (CPL) and play against other teams in the region. All coaches are US Soccer licensed and some travel is required.


DETAILS

  • Open to boys and girls in the U8-U12 age groups

  • Commitment

    • A full year is required of all Junior Academy players (August – April)

  • The teams will practice 2 times per week and games are held on the weekends.

  • Fees include: League fees, referee fees, professional coaches, field and facility rental and maintenance, administrative costs, and all other costs associated with running and maintaining the club

  • Fees do not include: uniforms, tournament fees, and VEO recording system

Select Program (U13-U18)

The BISA Select Program is a much more competitive program. Players in our select programs receive advanced training in dribbling, passing, shooting, and ball control. Coaches use specialized drills to improve individual skills. The BISA Select program emphasize game intelligence, including positioning, movement, teamwork, and strategic decision-making, and players learn to adapt to different game scenarios. Teams will compete in the SCYS President’s Medal Soccer League (PMSL), or the Open League and some travel required for league away games and tournaments.

  • Commitment:

    • U13-U14: A full year commitment is required of all players (August – April)

    • U15-U18: A 5-month commitment is required of all players (August-December)

  • The teams will practice 2-3 times per week and games are held on the weekends.

  • Fees include: League fees, referee fees, professional coaches, field and facility rental and maintenance, administrative costs, and all other costs associated with running and maintaining the club

  • Fees do not include: Uniforms, tournament fees, and VEO recording system
